02 May 2020, 17:02Hi Kevin R,
The below is a response that was posted on your previous post,
" It is an unprecedented moment in our modern lifetime as the world suffers the effects of the covid-19 virus, which has impacted all sectors globally. MultiChoice as an organization is not immune to this. MultiChoice has not confirmed whether payment holidays/ reduced subscriptions will be offered or not. Please do take note that as we continue to keep the broad cast of our channels this comes with costs. Infrastructure costs, system costs, channel procurement costs, and all other costs to our various suppliers.
We value your opinion and we will take it in for consideration.
It would be understandable to totally cut the subscription if there was no broadcast at all, however, we are keeping the service running and sports will return once this virus has been defeated. It will be a great loss to lose you as one of our loyal subscribers, but we ask you take the factors mentioned above into consideration.
Kind regards
DStv: Hello Peter Team"
