Dstv POOR SERVICE

Good day, I complained on 04 April 2020 regarding the service received from Dstv. They notified me that they will get back to me as soon as possible.Refer to below complained sent on 04 April 2020) My Dstv was disconnected on the 4th outstanding Balance was R964.00 as at date.

Dstv disconnected and bill increasing, can you please explain to me why my bill has increased from R964.00 to R1557.00 All info below Regards

Good morning,

I am a very disatisfied customer.

We have had our dstv ***9 account for +- 32 years of which we have never once skipped a payment.

I have been liaising with Natasha Nel and Nokuthula Buthelezi at the billing escalations department( which they "are there to assist customers with debit order queries at the bank")I have given them all my statements as they requested, all my complaints logged with the bank and explained the following to them.

We are in the entertainment business and due to the coronavirus we are in financial difficulty. My debit order was reversed twice at the bank, which I did explain to them that the department that can assist in correcting this will only be operational on the 17th April 2020 due to lockdown.

I don't think they even bothered to read any of the correspondence sent to them. They would have seen that Absa did also confirm this.

On the 25th April 2020 my son made a payment to Dstv for an amount of R904.00. Of which proof was also sent through.

Not once did Natasha Nel or Nokuthula Buthelezi confirm any liaison with the bank.

They keep on telling me that the payment of the debit order was reversed,WHICH I KNOW and has been explaining to them what has happened.

The only thing they are concerned about is disconnecting my dstv.

Is this the help, assistance and leeway that a customer of 32 years are given in lockdown.
