DSTV - pathetic service

Friday 16 August 2019 : I upgraded from easy view to compact via the what's up service. R238. 71 was required for the upgrade. I paid R280. The service was not upgraded. Contacted dstv but they were unable to resolve the upgrade.

Saturday 17 August : Numerous call were made to dstv regarding the failure to upgrade the service. Poor and no assistance. Sent 3 payment notification regarding the payment. Spoke to a supervisor (Nandipa) ... So here is the best part. Dstv supervisors (according to Nandipa) cannot do anything to assist a customer. Conversation was recorded, and the supervisor (Nandipa) says that even though I paid for the upgrade service, it is ONLY the system that can upgrade the service and not a Supervisor.Supervisor (Nandipa) says... "Even though money has been paid the system can take up to 48hrs to upgrade the service and supervisors cannot assist or do anything... That the customer must wait... Wait even 48hrs until the system changes the service... Supervisors cannot do anything...

Personally I think this supervisor (Nandipa) chose not to assist me or do anything. Nandipa says she cannot assist me as the money paid into their account has not cleared and until such time that the money has not cleared... She cannot assist me. So this supervisor refuses to assist my account even though I have proof of payment and have been a strong and loyal customer.

DSTV... catch a wake up... Reason why you losing customers is not because of Netflix... Poor service and even worse deplorable management and supervisors like (Nandipa) that are not willing to help.

So here's the problem dstv... I have asked Nandipa manager (Anele) to contact me. I am waiting for this call on Monday 18 August. I want reimbur*****t of the money paid to dstv for the days that no service was received.

I fully understand other people's frustration and complaints regarding dstv and their pathetic service.
