DSTV owes me for failed debit order charges

I've even given up or lost interest in DSTV anymore. These guys can't change a debit order date to save their lives. First, it should be something you can change when you update your account details on the self service site but no - can't change the date. Secondly - I had numerous calls - almost once each month since December last year when I changed my jobs - the date hasn't changed. I just keep paying failed debit order fees or am forced to make arrangements for the old date which is way earlier than my pay day. Seriously ***********. If this is updated on my credit report (i will check) - i will definetely take further steps.

Good day Mfundo

Thank you for your e mail.

Reference is made to our telephonic conversation. You request that we change your payment date from the 20 of the month to the 25 of the month.

We confirm that change was successful and your payment date is now on the 25th of the month.

Please be advised that your payment collected on the 20th was returned by your bank. Please make a manual payment to avoid any interruptions to your viewing.

King Regards

Rupert

DSTV,

Please advise on your contact details as I struggle with the contact centre. I have just received an sms saying that I owe DSTV R157.10 and credit bureaus will be informed. I explained to you that I have been paying failed debit order fees for a while - and sometimes forced to pay online with a credit card. I changed my job in December and haven't been successful in changing the order date then since then.

I do not appreciate threats like this, coming from a prepaid service. I'd appreciate if you can cancel my service indefinitely. I'll reconsider once your accounts and collection processes have improved from this frustration-centric, annoying , rudimentary, excessively *********** and grossly negligent operations. Companies running on Excel alone have better efficiencies. I should check your shareholding for government stake cause this is definitely synonymous to a parastatal level of service - Eskom comes to mind.

Hi,

Please send me the below;

- Banking details to EFT the R157.10 and reference number to use which, according to the statement I just received from you - is also due to you not honouring my countless requests to change my debit order date

- Proof that my subscription has been canceled and there will be no further debit orders from DSTV as I am literally sick of paying failed debit order fees which are like R115 for DSTV's own failure to do their job
