DSTV on my credit report

Why is DSTV on my credit report? From what I understand thi is a prepaid service "You dont pay, You dont get service". Why are you messing up my credit record?

Do you even do credit scoring when people subscribe?

Good day Toy

Accounts are billed in advance. Meaning that the account needs to be paid in advance. We allow for grace days as means of good business practice as we understand that customers may be faced with situation that do not allow for timeous payments. Grace days are granted to all accounts that do not already have an overdue balance.

The grace days are billed as normal days since these are used by customers. Should customer not require grace days and are aware that they will not need to use the service, then notification needs to be received from the customer, at least 5 days prior the account’s next payment date. Should an account be suspended by virtue of a defaulted payment, the balance remains as an overdue balance until such a time that the customer can have it settled or have it reflect as a balance that has defaulted, on their credit record.

We do not do credit scoring for our prepaid subscription offering, but as a registered financial provider, we do reflect on one’s credit record.

Warm regards

Girly
