DSTV not refunding me
I cancelled my annual prepaid DSTV subscription in March. Since then I've not been able to get Dstv to refund me about R9000 which they owe me. I paid DSTV using their online self service portal, yet they wanted me to provide a bank statement in order to refund me, which I then supp****. Then they insisted that the bank statement must be bank stamped, which was difficult at the time with lockdown. Then they said I must get them proof of payment from the credit card company. Which is crazy since I used their own self care system to pay online, yet they wanted the paygate company (which they employ!) to provide proof... which I then also did so that they had the proof from the paygate company as well, who processed the credit card payment. Then DSTV turned around once again insisted that they still want the stamped bank statement, even though they had my credit card transaction, and the proof from the paygate company. So during level 4 I went to the FNB branch (for a credit card you can only get the stamp at the branch), I got the stamped bank statement and then on 23 May I sent it to DSTV. On 27 May they acknowledged receipt and that it was submitted for refund. Nothing happened, on 8 June I contacted them again, and now they're telling me yet again that they cannot process since the bank statement isn't stamped, which is simply NOT TRUE. They actually rejected payment on 29 May already, just didn't bother to let me know. While on the phone the operator went and opened my email and confirmed that the statement is stamped. I cannot reach a manager there, I cannot reach their finance department, the operator at the call center cannot reach the finance department, they can only sent them email!!! THIS IS THE SERVICE FROM DSTV.

"Yes, we have received it and have reprocessed your refund. This will be sent to finance, together with the stamped bank statement and ID copy for the refund approval. Kindly contact us within the next 48 hours to confirm if the refund has been approved. ~CM".
Note that I did not send them anything new, only told them to look at my email from 23 May again and to look at the statement again. This message above is 100% EXACTLY the same thing I was told on 23 May and how many times since March... yet here we are once again with DSTV pulling up their shoulders, and telling me it's "submitted" now. Even after everything that has transpired, they cannot simply process the payment and get it done... they submit it to someone else who has 7 days, and then like the previous times I hear nothing back.
