DSTV no longer broadcasting certain sports events
It is with utmost disgust that DSTV did not obtain the TV rights for certain sports events such English League Cup and other important qualifying games. For the subscriptions we pay it is smack in the faces of loyal sport fanatics who only subscribe mainly for the sports channels, and to learn now that the subscriptions only pays for programming they do not wish to view. Please get your act together and give what the subscribers are paying for!!!!!

26 Sept 2017, 07:33So officially DSTV refused to meet the financial requirements thereby letting their subscribers down. That's the bottom line. I can't see any other reason. Given the exorbitant subscription, one would have expected DSTV to go beyond the norm to acquire TV rights that have been in place for so long. I have been a subscriber for almost 30 years, and it is the first time these rights were not acquired. Your response is the standard which is "Tough luck, we will continue to suck you dry!!!"
