Dstv multichoice is a ****mer and dissapointing

I went to the nearest checkers to pay my dstv account and I was told my installment is 1454 which is more than what I have been paying monthly, I usually pay around 500 which the monthly amount changes monthly till to date I do not know why. I enquire about the 1454 amount that I owe and I was told I activated a new decorder on the 5th of January 2025 which is something that I have no knowledge of because I used one decorder and have always used one decorder, I cannot pay for something that I do not use, is it really fair for me to pay for a decorder that I have no knowledge of and not using??? It's really unfair.. I called multi choice and one of the agents told me unfortunately I should pay for this extra decorder subscription even though I have no knowledge of it which doesn't sound right.. I am really disappointed in dstv multichoice I have been a loyal customer for so many years and this are the results no assistance whatsoever regarding this challenge that I have of a decorder that I have no knowledge of, a decorder that I am not using
