DSTV MULTICHOICE has no sense of taking responsibility of their **** ups
I changed my debit order date on the 26/08/2019. I noticed on the 02/09/2019 that Dstv did not debit. I called their call centre and i was told i have been pro-rated for 52 days and i need to pay R921.48 on the 25th of September 2019. I asked why. I was told there was an error with billing so they will charge me for 52 days. I said can they not debit at that moment i was told i need to pay cash at a Dstv walk-in centre. I could not do so due to the nature of my work. Mind you ive been on debit order for more than 4 years. Sunday the 8th my services were disconnected. I called in and i was told that there was an error on their end and now its been rectified. The services were connected. 5 mins later services disconnected and i called in again and they told me about the issues theyvare experiencing. And this back and forth went on for more than 3 times on sunday till it was rectified.
Now today the 13/09/2019 im being told my services have been disconnected due to non payment. I called in to query, i was told that my service is active. A debit order will go off on the 25th of this month. Upon querying on Twitter i was told i need to make payment as a adhoc debit had been set up without informing me since DSTV is a prepaid service. If i dont pay, my services will be disconnected today. I then queried why was i never informed of this meanwhile Multichoice is at fault. All i got was an apology. Ive sent emails, called in and no one ever listens. Its either you suck it up and suffer in silence or you cancel your contract. The csll centre agents are very rude. Ive spoken to Shenice and Nomfusi. Two very very rude agents from Multichoice. Their services is appauling. Furthermore i spoke to a supervisor on Sunday who is Lungas Team Manager. She re assured me she will investigate and get back to me. Till today i havd not heard anything. So yet again multichoice wins. They will debit my account at their own time and i have no say. Bear in mind i am on a 24 month contract with them, should it have been me who dishonored ohr agreement, i would have received calls from their legal department. Multichoice is a ****ty service provider
