DSTV Multichoice fails to honor advertised offers

DSTV (MULTICHOICE) sent me promotional emails on 29 December 2023, 19 January 2024, 2 February 2024, and again on 8 February 2024, offering to reactivate my account at the rate of R 199.00 per month for 6 and 3-month durations respectively. I accepted the offer on 10 January 2024. However, MultiChoice has failed to honor their advertised offer. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue with 15 different employees/consultants of MultiChoice, I have been unsuccessful. Subsequently, I lodged two complaints with Hello Peter, but to no avail. Although MultiChoice representatives contacted me after my complaints were lodged, they provided excuses, promises, and undertakings to activate the offer, yet failed to fulfill their commitment. It appears that the private sector, much like our public officials, is failing to meet expectations.
