DSTV Multichoice are a joke!

Where do I start??? I received an sms in December, stating that my debit order amount of R4450.00 is due on the 26th. Really? For a single Premium subscription! When I queried this, a consultant indicated that 2 old decorders were reactivated in November and I'm being billed for them. The consultant did say that this was an system error and would need to be reversed. I made a manual payment on the 26th December and was assured it would be sorted out. Then the nightmare started! After my service was suspended 4 times and having to phone every time to speak to a consultant to query this, even going into the DSTV customer service centre, every time I got the same answer in that the overcharges had not been reversed yet, I'm not at my wits end! Today I am double debited yet again and don't know what else to do. Can somebody sort my ****ing account out once and for all and explain to me why this keeps on happening... I can understand now why so many people I know have cancelled there subscription and moved across to Netflix

Hi Marc,

On behalf of MultiChoice, I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.

There are two decoders that were auto-reconnected by our system, and they are the small single decoder and the Dualview decoder. The two decoders were auto-reconnected on the 26th of November. All the charges for the two decoders have been reversed including the reconnection fees.

Currently, your account has a credit of R1667.10.

Regards
Kagiso

Best regards,

MS

Hi Kagiso.

Thank you for your reply and prompt response. I am holding thumbs that this has now been resolved as your same statement was communicated to me by 4 different consultants over the last 3 weeks.

Kind regards,
Marc
