DSTV Money STEELING business

I'm writing on behalf of my mom, her Price Lock package came to an end on the 2nd of Feb. When she received the notification (sms & an email on the 26th of Jan) she immediately smsed "YES" to 31065 to sign up again for price lock - the first choice on the email that had 2 choices. She did not hear from them in 72 working day hours so we phoned again on the 30th of Jan. She was eventually contacted and they told her the new price was R929. Which did not make sense - the email said - R759 pm for the next 2 yeares (R85 monthly access fee not included) - thus it should be in total R844. We phoned and asked for clarification - we were told someone will phone us - still waiting. She then received an email on the 8th of Feb stating that her Price Lock Premium 24 will be R759 pm. We phoned again asking for an explanation - we were told some one will contact us. We are still waiting. Great to our surprise an amount of R1172 went of her account on the 3rd of March. REALLY!!!!!! Can you do any calculations DSTV???? How do you get to this amount??? Can someone with mathematical s****s contact us - your contact center is just not helpful at all - they hum and ha and some one will contact us ..... do we have to wait till end of days???? DSTV - do you actually know what is happening in your accounts department - is anyone in your company on the same page??????????? How can all your communication differ???????

Hi Rupert This doesn't really assist me - it is already the 7th of the month - how long will they take? I'm still waiting for them to contact me on my previous messages before I submitted the complaint on Hellopeter. There was no response before. I have to say Price Lock still falls under Multichoice and it seems that there is just NO care fore customers. I'm disappointed and I really hope that I will get a reaction before close of business this Friday.

Today is the 12th of March - I'm still waiting for the Price Lock dept to phone me. Thus I phoned again today to get some answers - every time last week I was told - someone will get back to me. I was told by Thandeka that the amount of R1172 that went of our account was for pro-rata amount as well as an amount that was still outstanding on the previous agreement (very strange - how can this be outstanding if you put through the debit order each month? How can this be outstanding if you state that the current contract is coming to an end on the 2nd of Feb 2018? ) As well as R85 per decoder. DSTV how is that none of the amounts were explained to my mom. How can you just put an amount through? There was no agreement on the R1172. This is *****ING. My mom agreed on R929. How is it that all your communications never states that it is R85 per decoder? It only says, and I quote:" R85 monthly access fee not included." I have an email - dated the 8th of February - from you stating that the amount will actually be R759pm - on this email you do not even mention access fee of R85. How is it that you apparently phoned me - as per the note on your system - I'M STILL WAITING!!! It is sad to say that we are customers of a company that has misleading advertising as well as misleading communication and that they actually take their customers for a ride. I would suggested that perhaps the people responsible for your contracts get proper communication s****s - Customers do not deserve surprise deductions - we live in a world were we have to BUDGET for everything - especially if you are pensioners - thus SHOW some respect and be TRANSPARENT.
