DSTV misrepresentation
DSTV sold me an additional explorer on a 24 months contract at the fee of R49 pm, however what the sales agent neglected to inform me was that my payment method for my other 2 active decoders will be switched to debit order. I raised this issue after my 1st debit order and was assured by 3 consultants the contract was cancelled while it was not and was debited for the second month. I have sent 3 emails in the past 10 days to no reply from DSTV

After extensively, going through your account and various emails, it indicates you have since opted to cancel the Price Lock subscription and the decoder was collected following your sales dispute regarding the debit order payment method on the account.
We will send recommendations to the Price Lock sales team, following your disputes and concerns. However, looking into your DStv account the charges incurred were subsequently reversed leaving your DStv account with a credit balance.
We can assure you the method of payment was changed to cash following the collection of the Price Lock decoder and cancellation of the product on the 23rd of September 2020.
We do sincerely apologise for the negative experience, and the manner at which your complaint was handled. This has given us the opportunity to address the concerns with the various departments and ensure service is improved, as we strive to provide good customer service at all times.
