DSTV Losing Control of Their Accounts?
I have been overcharged on my DSTV debit order by R108.62 on 31 Jan. This despite the fact that I am on their two year price lock contract. Despite 2 telephone calls and also a visit to their offices, nobody can tell me why? This issue resulted in my rechecking my account for the last year only to find that they also overcharged me by an amount of R154 on 31 July last year. Another thing I have noted is that they are not loading all my monthly statements on their app. The months of September and November 2019 are missing and in addition the January 2020 statement has not been uploaded as yet. I am considering cancelling my debit order, as they have broken the terms of the two year contract and destroyed by confidence in their ability to properly manage our accounts.

DStv: Hello Peter Team
As regards the amount of R154, I am not happy with your explanation, for the following reasons:
In March 2017 you overcharged me by an amount of R154. You then corrected this in April 2017 by undercharging me by R154.
In May 2017 however, you again overcharged me by R154. This was then corrected by undercharging me by R154 in June 2017.
Therefore, the third overcharge in July 2017 of R154 was definitely not a correction of of the June 2017 undercharge and you still owe me a credit of R154.
Please therefore urgently process an additional credit for this amount.
Thank you.
