Dstv lie on one month free compact subscriprions!

I was so excited to get my very own first decoder from DSTV and bought the one with the one month free subscription. I tried connecting my services since 7-16 Nay 2023 as my instillation wizard didnt pass step 5. I only viewed my shows from 21 May- 25 May and it was disconnected now im told to pay R248 which is half the compact fee for 5 days of watching??? I also have to after that 2 June pay 445 which is the full compact fee this is a ******* a month is 31 days not 5 days of viewing in a 31 month and then being paid for those few days. Im beyond upset and dissapointed. Does the compact frer one month thing be a lie im going to tell all friends and family and warn them of this *******!!!
