DSTV it's so boring even my child wants a refund
Multi choice DSTV has become so boring & especially on their movie channels to the point that every time i swich on my DSTV i feel like crying or ask for a refund. <br> Since they have increased their subscription fees about a year ago so they can<br> Apparently to secure show max, which is outdated as compared to Netflix.<br> They keep repeating the same movies & shows a million times more than the history of SABC Tv. The premium & compact packages are not worth it, they are too expensive for nothing except for their reality shows on Mzansi magic. The rest are just boring & pathetic to say the least. <br> The youth most of S.A youth spend most of their times away from their homes due to the fact the is nothing to intertain them at home anymore so they have turned to alcohol as an option thanks to poor Tv entertainment on DSTV. The public protector & thr Minister need to investigate this serious matter before we all become alcoholic's.

We understand that some customers find repeats frustrating. The main reason programmes are repeated is to give people a chance to see something they might have missed. Or to record on their PVRs a show they might have missed. Different channels have different levels of repeats - a kids channel will repeat far more shows than a channel like M-Net. Different channels also cater for our customers on the different DStv packages - DStv Premium customers will see content that they had access to a few months ago, repeated later on channels that are open to customers on other packages like DStv Compact.
Some channels also have programming block of six or eight hours. This means that the same block of programmes will repeat either four (for six hour blocks) or three (for eight hour blocks) times during the course of a day. There is also a limit on how much new content is produced every year.
