DSTV is Greedy and Callous

I accidentally paid R10 000 into my brother DSTV account instead of his bank account from Capitec Savings Account. I approached DSTV to refund the money. I was required to provide all kinds of documents ranging from 3 months Bank Statements, Proof of Payment, IDs, affidavits etc so that DSTV can process the refund to my Capitec Account. Towards the end it just said sign a debit order so that your brother's DSTV monthly fees will be deducted from that amount for the next 24 months. I felt it was unfair, cruel and not business like. There are other immediate costs to use that money for, especially at this difficult phase as we recover from COVID pandemic coupled with an increase in the cost of living.
