DSTV is expensive and not worth it

Due to the fact that DSTV became so expensive during the past few years, I downgraded to a cheaper package. The cheaper ones are only for a selective part of the population, only soccer, there is no rugby or golf. I then purchased the mobile device and used in on my tablet to be able to view the SS 1-SS4. Later I got a Walka 7 and it worked perfectly. Now a few weeks ago I was informed that the Walka 7 is discontinued and will stop working after 31 October 2018. I received a R500 voucher which could not be redeemed or used. I was told that I should use the DSTV Now app in future. FIRSTLY, SS 1-SS4 does is not included as to the Walka 7, and SECONDLY, now I have to pay huge data cost to use the DSTV Now app. This is bulsh%t. The programming on all DSTV packaged is poor, repeats, repeats, and more repeat of very old programming, on Compact Plus and even the Premium package. There is much better programming on Netflix, IPTV and other IP platforms, I will be canceling my DSTV soon and I am advising family and friends to do the shame.
