DSTV is de*****ing its customers

Good day,

I was at the DSTV Cape Town(N1 City) offices on Sunday after my DSTV failed to play and my subscription suspended. After paying R750 it was reactivated. However I’m still in the dark as to why my DSTV was suspended. Apparently I activated one of my decoders in February online. I obviously have no knowledge of this and requested the IP address of the device that was used to go online. I purchased a new decoder last year for my tenants so that I can get the free installation that goes with every purchase. I never activated the decoder and it was only used to get the signal when the satellite guy installed the dish last year. Then suddenly I saw an amount of R1050 on my account when I made my monthly payment of R540. I think DSTV is de*****ing its customers by saying they activated decoders that was not even plugged in let alone have the wiring to connect to the satellite dish. The lady(customer service) who helped me on Sunday told me she will send the IP address to me within 24 hours but I’m still waiting. Furthermore after the lady told me I had to pay R713 to reactivate my account I told her I would be back in an hour. About 35 minutes later I was told by another customer service agent that the amount is R748. How the hell did my account just go up in a matter of minutes?

I need DSTV to provide me with all the relevant information pertaining to all activities on my online account from 1 Feb 2020. I would want to get to the bottom of this and try to recover my R750. I also want them to provide me with the decoder number that was activated as well as the email address of the ombudsman so I can have some recourse with regards to this whole saga.
