DSTV is a ****.
I haven't used DSTV for years. Suddenly, I got a call saying an amount was outstanding. I asked that all details be emailed to me and the my account be canceled. This never happened. I logged into the DSTV app and tried to pay that way and cancel my subscription. Due to a glitch in the app, I paid around R1300 in total. I called DSTV and asked that my subscription cancellation be confirmed in an email and my money refunded. I was given an email address which doesn't exist and no money was ever refunded nor was I given proof that my subscription was cancelled. How does this work under the consumer protection act, DSTV? Should I report you for bad business practice?
