DSTV is a ****!

I have a compact DSTV subscription, of which was disconnected due to non payment. Later got a call from a lovely lady offering to reconnect me until I make my payment, was happy about that and agreed but what the lady failed to tell me was that I will be charged now to my surprise when I made my payment and was told that I had short paid cause I did not pay for the time I was reconnected.

Now 1, I did not ask to be reconnected and 2, why was I not informed that I would be charged for being reconnected? That is misinformation and doubt it's legal cause now I'm being pushed to pay for something I did not request. Had I known, I wouldn't have said yes to her reconnecting my services.
