DSTV, Iris Kammies needs training

Called DSTV today, got through to Iris Kammies but didn't know it was her because when we asked her to give us her name she just placed us on hold and after waiting for over 23 minutes we decided to hang up. We then had to call again when Tristan Naidoo assisted us professionally. But you Iris Kammies, you told us a refund was not permitted and we would only get our R103.50 when we reactivate our DSTV. You Iris Kammies should be severely disciplined by DSTV and trained on CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLING.

Hi Sean,

On behalf of MultiChoice, we would like to apologize for the negative experience you had with our agent, Iris Kammies. At MultiChoice, we pride ourselves on giving our 100% every day to ensure that our customers’ needs are being met. We know that we have let you down, and for that, we are very sorry.

We listened to the call and picked up that our agent was not actively listening to your query. The agent was supposed to:

1. confirm that the services are inactive.
2. Advise you about the credit balance
3. Confirm with you if the refund should be processed

Please note that the incident has been escalated to her manager.

The refund has been captured.

Our Finance Department will approve the refund either tomorrow or Friday.

Kind regards,
DStv: Hello Peter Team

Best regards,
