DSTV Internet Cancellation Nightmare

Have tried 3 times now to cancel a DSTV Internet contract via the call center. Each time they say they will escalate and give me a call back, but nothing so far. The 1st time they said it would be free to cancel because it was within the first few days of service and before the first payment, but the following calls said they would charge. I refuse to pay additional cancellation fees because they cannot follow process in time.
