DSTV insurance ****

My mother's DSTV account has escalated to +-R500.00 and when she enquired they told her that it's for the insurance with then and she was provided with the landline number to contact them and cancel the policy. She was given land line number: ***.

She's partially blind and get grant of R2 000.00 plus from SASSA and she doesn't recall giving them the permission to activate such policy. She can't afford it.

She asked me to phone them on her behalf and more than 3 times the call gets cut off after I inserted her ID number saying they they aren't available and I must phone back later.

Currently her DSTV access account has been blocked coz she doesn't have the money to pay for the that insurance that she never greed to.

This is ridiculous to have activated the policy without her concern and she's living with the disability of being partially blind for heaven sake.
