DSTV installer - Substandard installation

On the 30th January 2018, i called the DSTV customer care centre to find a reputable installer for my Explora 2 (full installation package). I was given the details on Ven Tecknik to complete my installation. The installer completed the installation that very day and rushed through without testing the system to confirm that it was in a working order. I arrived home at 5 pm and found that substandard work was done in the installation process as wires had been cut and joined on my roof and no trunking was used. I contacted DSTV to lodge a complaint. To date, no action has been taken against the installer and my DSTV remains in a non-functional condition. My 8th call to DSTV has not resulted in any action taken by their field service team in order to remedy the situation. I am now resorting to Social Media platforms in order to resolve my own service issue and raise awareness around service providers such as Ven Tecknik who are affiliated with DSTV.

I have cancelled my subscription after 10 years now and i am highly disappointed by the lack of interest shown by DSTV to find a resolution to this problem.
