DSTV ******* Reboots/Rescans of decoder

DSTV is in the ******* process of forcing it's clients that paid for SD PVR decoders to upgrade to the new Explora decoders, even though the SD PVR decoders are still in perfect working order. The strategy that DSTV is using is to reboot/rescan your SD PVR decoders at prime viewing times, such as when important football, rugby, cricket matches, etc. are being aired. This is being done to frustrate the viewers into abandoning their perfectly working SD PVR decoders and to once again purchase a new decoder from DSTV. Other tactics that they use is to have reboot loops that last for hours or days. This is similar to what the Apple company did when they released new models of their Iphones and then they slow down the older model Iphones.
