DSTV HD Decorder

I recently purchased the dstv hd decorder. However on numerous occassions the signal does not pick up. I phoned multichoice and Sthembiso kubeka said that the fault is mine because the dish is not connected properly and she cannot assist. However I had the normal dstv dish for 2years and it worked perfectly. This lady was very rude and did not want to assist me. When I called again a man assisted me and said it cannot be my fault and sent me a new signal link. However I still experience this problem. Maybe that's the reason the HD decorder went on sale because there is a problem with it
