DSTV - Going back to where we dont belong for sport broadcasts

I have complained about the same issues with our expensive paid-for DSTV service for years now. It seemed like DSTV listened to it's clients and stated that they will broadcast a wider diversity of sports and not allow some sports to dominate all the sporting channels. Whoever made that decision must have left and his/her predecessor, who was hell bent to change all sporting channels into soccer channels, is back. As also stated before, I have nothing against soccer. It is with reason the world's biggest sport and is nice to watch towards the final rounds of the world cup. Soccer surely deserves more air time than any other sport, maybe even twice as much as the next most popular sport, but why does it have to occupy more than two-thirds of all sporting channel air time most of the time? There surely cannot be a sane motivation for that? The situation is worsening when you consider that the previously soccer-free channels are now also used to broadcast soccer, super sport channel 201 being and example. On 23 December the channel was used to broadcast soccer all day and all evening and there are more and more spurts of soccer on the channel. It is really frustrating to page through the channels and from channel 201 to 212, you are fortunate if four channels have anything else than soccer on them. And those channels are mostly having some form of re-broadcast in any case. O, I nearly forgot, one of the reasons why I believe somebody in a senior decision-making position of the past is back, is because not only are we drowned in soccer again, but the farce of WWE is back as well, with a bang. Surely there are non-**** sport to broadcast??? There may be a place for WWE, but move it to the cluster where you find 7de laan and others like that, please. On the positive side we need to thank DSTV for airing UFC fights. I have motivated that for years and as one of the fastest growing sports in the world, it deserves to be broadcasted. Thank you for this. Some major boxing events are also broadcasted, also some are not. Why would this be? Surely there is enough money around to buy the rights for these events. I would hate to think that my premiums are used to pay for expensive soccer events, but I cannot see high profile boxing tournaments? Suggestion: Tennis is covered quite well (Thank you again) but why are female tennis events not broadcasted? DSTV only covers female tennis during the slams and then there was one tournament from China broadcasted about a 100 times over during the latter end of the year. Women tennis can be as exciting as men's and especially on faster surfaces where men serve and move over to the next serve. Women tennis tend to have longer rallies for such surfaces with more s**** at display. In a time where we want to promote all sports to all, surely one of the world's most popular sports on the female side needs more time on air? And can we put a limit to the number of times any event may be re-broadcasted, please? The quality of broadcasting is very good and normally the coverage of events are conducted very professionally. Just please cover sports other than soccer as well, limit re-broadcasts and bring in more popular sports, like indicated.
