Dstv give personal information to debt collector

Good day my name is ewald erasmus I'd nr ********** 185085, Can someone please explain to me who gave dstv the right to give out my personal information to a debt collector, that's bull**** and unacceptable, can someone explain to me why, they dit not even ask my permission if they are allowed to that.
