Dstv extra stream
We attempted to add the extra stream option for once device via the my DSTV app. Another decoder was accidently added along with a an Indian add on package. Please note, the service for an extra stream was not activated and the added packages were not active at all. Dstv is now requesting a pro rata amount of about R900 for a service which was not used and is threatening to disconnect the service due to not wanting to pay the pro rata amount. The DSTV ACC belongs to my mother who has been a loyal customer to MultiChoice. Please do contact her as it is unfair to bill her for a service which was not used. There was no access to use it. Her contact number has been added. Her name is Beryl Goodman.

02 Nov 2023, 17:47I spoke to a manger at Dstv MultiChoice in the customer care team. The add ons were mistakenly added on the self service app. They now state that there is nothing that they can do regarding the outstanding balance as is the services were active. There were no services active as it said "awaiting payment"
How can you be billed for a service you did not use and then state that normal premium service will be deactivated due to non payment. Payment was made today for the normal premium account which includes extra view and the PVR function.
My airtime ran out whilst speaking to the manager and I did not receive a call back. Where is the service Dstv/MultiChoice? I'm not happy and I can't accept "unfortunately" as an answer.
