DSTV Explorer incorrect billing.
I am currently on the line with someone that does not know what I am being billed for. How do you sell a product to someone and not train your customer service agents on how the billing system works. I was told that if i install the explorer for my mom, she will just be charged R560 per month, nothing about additional charges was mentioned. When I call the call centre the agent could not even explain to me the billing. So please collect your decorder and let me go back to the old decorder. The name of Agent I spoke to was Lisa Xoki and Her team leader Bongi Nkosi.

01 Feb 2023, 18:40No Feedback has been received. I had to call back and a lady by the name of Manini promised to call me back before 5pm and she did not call. As we speak i have been on a call for 21 minutes holding for another team leader and having a call centre agent that says I am suppose to pay R671. Mind you, I am still not connected. So you definition of as soon as Possible is worrying me.

It took one phone call from Andile Nekatuni from the hello peter team to explain the billing process, followed by continous communication with the progress of the query within the promised time frame. Thank you so much to him, my hope was 70% restored and I will await the completion of the query to change my rating. However, going forward, please do not wait for a hello peter review to effeciently assist your clients. Thank you again Andile for the great service.
