DSTV Explorer absolute junk
I upgraded my PVR2 to an Explorer a month ago. My worst mistake ever. This machine's software is total junk. From day one I have had nothing but problems with it. Bought it at Makro, Strubens Valley branch. In the beginning it was constant error messages which progressed to channel selection taking 5-10 seconds to move and then another 5-10 seconds to load and often the channel selection jumping all over the place. Extremely frustrating. The call center is useless and cannot resolve anything and understand even less. I have had enough of the Explorer plan to go back to my PVR2 which never gave any problems and get rid of this disgrace.

Reference is made to our telephonic conversation in regards to the technical problems you experiencing with your DStv Explora decoder.
We advised that you have your decoder tested at your nearest MultiChoice agencies or branch to be tested. Should the problem persist we also advised that you should call a MultiChoice accredited installer to have your installation tested.
