Dstv explora *******
I have always been using the old dstv decoder on the compact package on a cash payments basis, so this year Jan I decided to upgrade but only the decoder seeing that can't afford other packages on price lock, so i took just the explora on price lock at R89 per month for 24 months debit order, Installation took place early February and on the 6th it was already switched off by multichoice, I called was switched on again barely a week later it was off again i went to my local dealer and they said it shows ON in their system so I had to call again and before the 15th it was once again off had to call and demand an explanation, which was not afforded especially seeing that my subscription is due on the 17th of each month, so I send an email the reply says I owe R640,42, I get another call after the 15th about taking up insurance so I ask the lady to explain why I owe so much, she calculates I owe R385subscriptuon + R85 explora + R90 for rewinding? am speechless by this disclosure. Okay right but still don't just the above mentioned amount and also seeing that my subscription preference is not/shouldn't be included in the amount owing seeing that it's not a debit order, so she tells me I should rather contact the other department dealing with payment they'll be able to explain better, so I do and up to this day no response to my email correspondence to them, 6 days later my connection is off once more so I check the website and as we stand right now it says I owe R986.00 that should be paid before reconnection. I am not willing to be ********** by a bunch of ****** like multichoice, these hidden costs were never part of the deal, the price lock pertinently states you pay R89 x 24 months, I have asked to be provided with the recording of the sale because I asked these questions on the day I had a call back for the explora but no response is forthcoming, if I should pay R90 for rewinding and recording stuff each and every time on the explora than I'd rather spend that money on an internet service provider so I can do the latter as much and as often as I want on my laptop and as far as am concerned they can have their f#@&$ explora back and do whatever they want with it but am not paying that kinda money. This is clearly day light ******* to unsuspecting users. Am done with these *****s
