The DSTV Explora is widely advertised as the perfect system for viewing TV programs. But there are two issues that just cannot be resolved, despite all the hype (and assciated costs):

1. The sound and picture (lip-sync) is more than often out of alignment - out of sync. Not only is this very annoying, but for us older people that rely to an extent on lip-reading it makes it almost impossible to follow the speech.

2. When paging through the channels, the info displayed at the bottom of the screen and the channel actually displayed is completely out of sync. For instance, the channel may be 121, but the info displayed could by channel 400 - or any other combination.

Both these issues should be easily resolved by a competent programmer. Or are there no competent people in the employ of Multichoice?
