DSTV expensive and awful

DSTV’s offering is getting more and more limited every day. I haven’t watched a DSTV programme, other than sports or the news, for about a year. Programmes are either terrible or reruns. If there ever is anything good, it’s usually on Box Office and there’s an extra charge. Fortunately we have signed up to Netflix and have lots to watch for a very reasonable price.

DSTV have just put my subscription up to R986/month. This is a ridiculous amount of money for just the news and sports. It’s simply not worth it.

I feel DSTV has lost the plot and I’m not surprised most of my friends have cancelled their subscriptions.
