DStv Episode Numbering
We have recently deleted the series, Alert! Missing Person's Unit, and will be deleting My Kitchen Rules Australia. It is not that we do not enjoy watching these shows, we do, but we cannot watch them at the time that they are shown so we record them. This is where the problem arises. Over the last while we have noticed that whoever types or records or has programmed the Series Numbers are just not getting it correct and so the episodes are being recorded out of order. We, ourselves, cannot identify this until we get to the point where the story doesn't make sense and we see that what should have been marked Episode 10 was advertised/programmed as Episode 5 on DSTV ...... My Kitchen Rules must really have boggled the brains of the person who was capturing/creating the Episode Numbers especially when we now go from Team 1 to Team 2. It really should have been simple, just continue the Episode Numbers one after the other. This way you won't have two Episode 5's and messed up recordings or no recordings up because the DSTV recorder "thinks" it has already recorded Episode 5 so skips it.....and we lose out one of the Team's Episode 5. Please DSTV - this should not be a particularly difficult problem to solve. I should imagine that this is a programming issue and should be a simple fix. Surely more folk have been affected by this. We never used to have this inefficient numbering system....so what changed?
