Dstv duped me

Last week Tuesday/Wednesday I logged a complain about Dstv promotion,on same day I received a call from Andile who provided me with a reference number and promised that he will investigate the issue and come back to me with feedback, however until today (almost a week later) I am still waiting, when I contacted their customer care line and spoke to Richardo who advised the reference number doesn't exist and there is no complaint registered on my account. My account was due for payment on 01 May but Dstv hasn't activated the discount promised as per their promotion. Now, I feel like I was duped by Dstv into upgrading to a more expensive subscription hoping to get promotion discount that does not "exist". I am ready to pay my account but how do I pay for something that I couldn't afford.
