DSTV dropping channels.

I phoned DSTV today to find out why I suddenly can't access channel 401 CNN. I was told it was only 'given to DSTV Family package during the lockdown'. What nonsense!! I downgraded from Compact for financial reasons, but kept to Family to be able to access the main News Channels. Apart from the news, the rest of the package is recycled garbage. If I downgrade further I lose even ENCA which is local and ought to be available on all packages. When one signs up one signs up for certain channels-then oops.. it's gone..... shocking.
