DSTV Downgrade Process via Debit order

This is the worst experience, where you request for you channel downgrade for next month, in the beginning of the month and it has being confirmed as done, and you double check and the Call Center person say it is done.

In the beginning of next month to only find out it is not, and you are debited the full channel price, which is wrong, which you kinder expected that.

So you phone in the same day and try and get your money back and downgrade, this where the problem come, as they say you are downgraded, but you can only get your money back after 7days, and you have to pay for the the downgrade.

how does that work, that a company is requesting more customer to go and activate debit order, while they don't have a system to proper manage the issues like this. My money is busy gaining interest sitting at DSTV, inconveniencing customer, who already pay a lot for less.

so my advise stay away from DSTV debit order if you will be downgrading, as you will not get you money back after 7days, unless you go via your bank, which you will have to call them, to reverse the the money, which is too much of an effort.

rather pay and get the services you pay for.

To make it worse, when I get home to find that it was downgraded to the wrong decoda, how does that happen when i'm paying for explorer features, and the decoda is not even online. this is very pain full exercise, and extremely poor service
