DSTV double subscriptions *******

It seems that DSTV is running a racket. When you upgrade your DSTV device, they dont cancel the old device but instead charge you two subscriptions for 2 devices. I have been speaking to them for the past 8 months about my high bill but not once did somebody tell me until today that I was in fact paying for 2 devices. I explained that I wasnt asked to cancel the old device. Surely this should be investigated. How many other people are in this situation.

Also you are not allowed to cancel in the middle of the month but when you reinstate they are willing to charge a pro rata rate. As consumers I dont feel very protected but these hidden agendas from unsuspecting customers.
