dstv double standard/underhanded business practice

How does dstv operate? Earlier in the year my subs were returned by the bank and they cancelled my sub or rather, switched off my access. Then followed that up with claiming an amount around R450 for the period after the viewing was cancelled. I queried this amount with several people until I couldn't waste my time anymore. Now and throughout the lockdown, they have been bombarding me with offers to rejoin dstv and there was never any mentioned of the money mentioned above. Eventually, I signed up for a compact+ package. At no stage did the consultant say I owed anything and I reasonably took it that the matter had been resolved. Why else would they offer new services to a person that owes them money. It was only when I called to confirm the amount to pay for my new subs that I was surprised to hear of the R 450 again. Since then, I have called (ref I220 on 18 Aug), the lady on that called promised to resolve the matter. Nothing happened and I followed up (ref I228 on 24 Aug), still nothing happened. I called today to ask the agent, Tokelo, who by the way recommended that I send an email or go to a dstv service centre even after I told him I have already logged the matter, to please request a response on the previous 2 requests.

Can someone switch off the current compact+ and send me the bill for the period 18 Aug to date for me to settle?
