DSTV does not give a damn about viewers

I have been a DSTV subscriber since it started. One of the attractions has been Eastenders. As a daily serial it evolves every day. DSTV have now in conjunction with BBC changed the channel formats such that Eastenders will be off the air for 48 days minimum. Given that the local coverage is already in arrears, by the time that it resumes we may be three months behind what suddenly appears in the new channel. DSTV seem to be unconcerned, ranging from blank indifference of the call centre to sympathetic effete clucking from the complaints desk. Surely there should be some regard for the mass of viewers that watch popular items.
