DSTV do respond to Hello Peter

Hi all,

First off, this is a bad rating with some good to it aswell, I will amend my rating once I get contacted and resolution from DSTV.

The issue occured last year September 2015 where their system had a glitch and re-activated my cancelled account. This also caused the system to debit my cheque account.

This was later rectified and refunded, but in November 2015 this happened again, but this time round I have removed my cheque account details to prevent debits, which meant that there was an outstanding amount on the account. Unaware of this error until recently when I app**** for a Mortgage bond, DSTV have been listing my account as BAD DEBT for 9 Months, which adds a horrible stain on my otherwise excellent credit rating.

Now for the Good bit:

This has been resolved in record time for DSTV of 2 days, the lady assisting was Anna ***ancu, whom I wish to thank for outstanding and professional service.

Now the BAD bit:

Although I have recieved a mail from the support team detailing I am now in credit, The credit bureau's will take 20-business days to investigate and clean this error of the system. This will cause me to lose the property, and also cannot reapply for between 6-12months.

Now let's see if this post can be upgraded by someone at DSTV going the extra mile:

The credit bureaus can do something about it if DSTV contact them directly, and request urgent amendments, Let's see if they respond and if they are willing to assist.

Here's to hoping and proving they do respond to HelloPeter Comments
