DSTV - DISHONEST SERVICE TO VIEWERS

Like so many other DSTV Price Lock customers, I have been over-charged on my September & October debit orders. I was given a reference number and told that my query was being "escalated". The Multichoice email "explaining" this general issue sent last week to all subscribers does not address my specific query, nor does accessing my account on the DSTV portal. Emails are not answered and phoning the call centre is an exercise in futility. This was a geat exercise in substantially boosting revenue and should be looked into by the Public Protector. Let's get the Hawks involved as to how Multichoice can just increase debit orders without any prior notification to subscribers. A Class Action law suit is also an option should a law firm be willing to take it on! Or maybe Carte Blanche could feature this in their next airing (or not, this is a DSTV programme!!!) This is really a very serious issue and unfortunately as subscribers, we are expected to just "suck it up" as individual law suits are not practical - and Multichoice knows this!
