I upgraded my decoder from a PVR to an Explora. The PVR was fully insured, sold it to a friend who installed it a day after being told to cancel PVR Insuarance becoz of change of ownership. The PVR is said to be faulty went back to Decoder care of DSTV for assistance was told no the decoder is not covered once there was change of ownership. My friend needs to pay for repairs. I cant sell a decoder that is faulty to a friend its not good. I feel its not fair for dstv to dismiss my claim when the cancellation is not even a week old. They speak of waiting period, why cant that same rule apply to us their customers.
