DSTV COMPACT
Dstv ran a promotion for compact plus in July 2019. The promotion was meant to run for two months with a lesser price. However i have been charged the full amount since i joined that promotion, and it seems as if a dstv consultant has automatically upgraded me from compact to compact plus without my knowledge. I only joined for the promotion, not to be permanently upgraded to compact plus. I called several times and i was told twice that a complaint has been lodged. I am not happy at all, and someone needs to sort this out!

Our records indicate you have contacted us to schedule the downgrade and it will be effective on the 15.12.2019. The system also indicates credits were passed to ensure you are charged the total amount of R460,00 for the DStv Compact Plus package promotional upgrade. Send us an email so that we can send you a statement showing the credits passed.
However, after the promotional upgrade, the services would remain on the upgraded package and we needed you to contact us to change the package again, because at this time you were now being billed the full DStv Compact Plus R519,00 subscription.
You are not obligated to stay on this package, you can upgrade or downgrade when you send us a request.
We apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused.
Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us send us an email at ***.
