DSTV Charges incomprehensible

I am writing this on behalf of my father in law, regarding his DSTV subscription, that we manage as he is 93. The DSTV statements are so confusing one needs a Masters degree a PHD, and MBA to understand what is going on, and then you will battle to fathom where they get their figures from. I am sure this is done to confuse subscribers, so they do not actually know what they are paying, especially if they are on debit order…. I have printed the last 6 months statements, and EACH ONE has a different amount. How can a standard subscription have a different amount every month ???? Then some months there are debits and credits for the same thing, sometimes twice on the same statement WHY????? In Jan 24 the insurance on his decoder was R23 per month. No letter of any increase has been received. Then in February we cancelled the insurance, and then on his Feb statement he is debited R 27 for insurance, and then also an insurance reversal for only R21.41 *** - How can they JUST INCREASE the insurance by around 17% and then only credit R21.41 ....... Now to top it all the April statement shows he owes R1008. How can that be if the new subscription is R929? in MY OPINION, something very strange is going on with DSTV charges / statements.
