DSTV changes price without notification

I joined in June 2023 for a pricelock of R994 for 24 months, with Xtraview on a send decoder. They take my fee via debit order. In December the debit order did not go through and I was not notified. They cut me of in January 2024. I paid a price of R919 for reconnection. Only decoder was reconnected. The price was adjusted to R999 and there is now a payment plan added that was not on the bill before. I contacted them and asked about the new price. They tell me the system says I must pay that price and they cannot change it. I know it is only R5, but I was never notified of an increase, I have pricelock, they disconnected me without warning and I had no communication whatsoever of what is going on. Basically, Multichoice has been *****ing me since 2023 and I can't do anything about it. I have it for my parents, who are old and cannot handle the internet. DSTV is losing customers, but they are not changing their prices, they don't care about loadshedding or their customers. They are a bunch of idiots who cannot and will not help. Don't get DSTV. They are in it for money and nothing else. You will regret it.
