DSTV cancellation - they are trying all possible tricks to not cancel my subscription!

Since DSTV published the news that the Select 2 package would be cancelled and users would be transferred to the Family package, I have told them through many phone calls (both on their outbound calls and my calls to them) that I am not interested in the family package, as it excluded channel 144, where I follow the news and news commentaries, and my wife follows the soapies. On one of my calls, I was told that if I wanted to cancel my subscription, I needed to do it by the 23rd of October, so I called them a number of times during the week before the 23rd; however, they had all kinds of ways to sidestep me cancelling. First they told me that I had to call another number, then on Saturday 19 October I was told that their system is down, so they could not help me. On a subsequent call, I was told that they needed to escalate it to another department and that they would call me. But they did not call me. So, on the 23rd, I called again to express my utter disgust in not being able to cancel, and the agent told me that she would ensure that the cancellation would be registered on the system on that day. However, after the 28th, I noticed that the full payment still went off my bank account - even though I received an SMS to tell me that the subscription would end on the 3rd of November. And today, on the 4th of November I received an SMS to inform me that my subscription will be transferred to the Family package tomorrow. This is the ultimate arrogance from a company thinking they still have a monopoly. Where do I have to escalate this to get the account cancelled and get my money back for the 28 October payment? And it has cost me a lot of airtime.
