DSTV call center staff *********** and unable to resolve query

Good Day

I have had an atrocious experience with Multichoice DSTV. I have been an annual paying subscriber since inception in 2010. I have always paid my subscriptions annually and received the 1 month free. In December 2017 I received an SMS that the account was overdue and would be cut off. I called the call center and was informed by the call agent that this was a mis-understanding and that everything would rectified. 2 weeks later I received a further SMS stating that the account was overdue and would be cut off. I again contacted the call center and was informed that this was a mistake on DSTV's side and would be rectified. During this process R2,000 was paid into the account even though it was not due. On February 2018 I contacted the call center again and spoke to Refiloe Moholola at 14:59 query ref ********** 0-I112. She informed me that my account had been short paid in 2016 by c.R300 and the system had automatically converted my account from annually to monthly. I asked her on what basis this had been done and she referred me to the terms and conditions. I opened the terms and conditions while on the call and asked Refiloe to show me where the terms and conditions state that DSTV could unilaterally change my account without informing me or notifying me of the short payment. Refiloe was unable to show me where in the terms and conditions it stated that such an amendment would be made but insisted that it was there. I told her that I was not happy that DSTV had made changes to my account and requested her to make the amendments. I also asked her to send me my account statements from inception to present which she said she would (I am still waiting for them). She stated that she cannot make any amendments without Finance approval. She said that she will write a note to Finance and that they will respond to me within 24 hours. On 26 February 2018 I had not heard anything from DSTV and contacted the call center. I spoke to Ianda Hlophe who informed me that there was no feedback on the system and that Refiloe would come back to me. By 27 February 2018 Refiloe had not called me back, I called the call center and spoke to Nompumelelo Buthelezi who was unable to resolve my query after re-telling it to her. A few days later I contacted the call center again to request the the account be placed on annual payment by debit order and spoke to Lawazi. Lawazi informed me that I had to pay R1,602.93 which I paid. I filled out the debit order form and called the contact center again to check what date I had to insert for the debit order. I spoke to Sandiswa Sibeko who informed me that I had to put 24 March 2018 on the form and that I still owed R2,194.00. I said that I had just paid the full amount outstanding of R1,602.93 and asked how the amount outstanding could suddenly be an additional R2,194.00. Sandiswa said that is what the system said and was unable to assist me further. The next day I received a call from a debt collector stating that my DSTV account would be cut off if I did not pay R1,602.93. I informed the debt collector that it had been paid. Today I logged onto my DSTV account and all of a sudden the amount due is R2,228.44??? I contacted the call center and they stated that the R2,228.44 had to be paid by 24 March 2018 and that they could not provide me with any written proof that this was the correct amount. I would like DSTV to send me my account statement from inception to present and do a full recon on the account. I find it completely unacceptable that DSTV make changes to my billing period without informing me and then when I call to have it rectified I get told "it's the system and it cannot be changed".

Please fix this!

Regards Darren
